Fracas over bromance .

The bromance that was born out of the flights between Nairobi Kenya, to Hague, International Crimal Court following the post election violence in the highly disputed 2007 elections is now on its death bed. This follows continuous exchange between the head of state and His deputy and running mate in two elections.

The deputy president felt left out after the handshake ,which has not only shaken the two but the entire Jubilee Party. Questions have been arising as to whether the Deputy is still in government, to which he hasn’t given a clear answer. All eyes were on the head of state yesterday as he met the editors.

Yesterday ,the president dared his deputy to quit the government . He said ,” I have an agenda that I was elected on ,and that work must continue, and it would really be the honourable thing that if you are not happy with it,you would actually step aside and those who want to move on,and then take your agenda to the people. Which is what happens in any normal democracy ,because you can’t have your cake and eat it. You can’t on one hand say ,’ I’m not going and on the same time ‘I don’t agree ‘ you’ve got to decide, because you must be principled in that endeavour so that you don’t confuse people ; in the one hand you want to sing the praises of a government ,that you’re saying ‘we’ve done this ‘ and you want to ride on them, but yet on the other side of your mouth you’re talking another language . ”

The head of state said one can’t live in a glass house and throw stones at it. The president added that, he will not deviate from his big four agenda . The BBI was one of his agendas he said, but now that it has failed he added that he shall concentrate on his agenda.
